First a quote: “A different world cannot be built by indifferent people.” – Peter Marshall
Hello, happy Monday. and happy Independence Day !
I trust most of are looking forward to a safe and wonderful 4th of July celebration. Perhaps relaxing, a BBQ, enjoying friends and family, maybe even a little reflection on the freedoms so many of us take for granted.
That is our family plan. And we know how fortunate we are to live in a place where we’re able to do all those things and more. We are healthy, safe, have enough to eat, and are surrounded by friends and family who love us. I so wish that were the case for all people everywhere.
If you had to work this past weekend, or perhaps wished you could and weren’t able, please know my heart goes out to you. These are certainly difficult times for so many people in so many places for so many reasons.
We face a myriad of challenges as a country, and as a society, and yet at the same time, we have much for which to be grateful.
I took time off from writing this holiday weekend to spend with the people I love. Knowing many of you look forward to the weekly bonus quotes, I’m posting a few related to our country, our freedoms, and tomorrow’s holiday as we celebrate Independence Day.
Thank you for choosing to check in. Be safe. Be healthy. Be kind.
Let’s all choose to be “our best selves” tomorrow and every day going forward. Together we can make this a better country and a better world. Everyone can make a difference, and everyone should try.
How will you live, love, or lead differently, or better this week?
Happy 4th of July to all!
Sincerely,
Bryan Yager
