I was at a 1-day workshop on Applied Strategic planning with Bryan. And I must say it was one of the best training sessions ever. Bryan is a SME when it comes to applied strategic planning and his training style reflects the same. All the examples, experiences he shared with us were spot on and one can correlate to most of them. The group activities/workshop was almost the best group–activity I have been a part of. He facilitated a business simulation called Journey of Jewels, (it’s a team exercise that challenges team to demonstrate forward planning, execution of plans and many aspects of strategic planning), which I completely enjoyed and learned a lot of things about strategic thinking and planning. Bryan shared some of his personal life experiences and lessons he learned from his career and life. He knows what he is talking, sharing and demonstrating about and he is very good at it. I personally find it difficult to remember names of new people I meet for the first time, Bryan on the other hand not only remembered names of all the trainees but he used them in his examples. He certainly knows how to keep people engaged during the workshop. Bryan is just a great guy in training applied strategic planning.
